About Kimberly

hello~

My passion is to help others overcome obstacles in their lives through a relationship with God, growing in self-awareness, and learning healthy relational and communicative tools. I hold a degree in Theology from the University of Mobile and have completed lay counselor training in Intimacy Therapy through The Center for Relational Care. In addition, I spent five years training under a local Christian counselor utilizing this model in group counseling and community trainings. Most recently, I completed a 60-hour certificate program in Somatic Trauma Therapy through The Embody Lab.

I joined Invest Your Life Ministries in 2019. IYLM is a non-profit, para-church ministry under which I provide services as a Relational Coach through Kimberly Neely Coaching. I have served as a resource for parents, spouses, professionals, ministry leaders, teachers, adolescents, adults, and children through individual coaching, leading and co-leading groups, teaching at schools and churches, and leading women’s retreats.

I am a wife, mom of three precious children, and a persistent learner. You can often find me enjoying some of my favorite things, such as the outdoors, reading books, and listening to favorite authors speak about interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, trauma healing, and spiritual formation.

I also enjoy visiting new places, running, spending time with my family, connecting with my friends, and baking (especially in the fall)!
