About Kimberly

My passion is to journey alongside clients, offering a compassionate space to engage their stories. As we explore both the beauty and pain within your story, we can begin to discover the relational patterns that have emerged. Through embodied and relational practices, we will work together to create and strengthen the neural pathways that help us connect more deeply with ourselves, others, God, and the created world.

I hold a degree in Theology from the University of Mobile and have completed multi-level lay counselor training in Intimacy Therapy through The Center for Relational Care. I also spent five years in intensive training under a local counselor who utilized this model in group counseling and community training. In 2019, I joined  Invest Your Life Ministries, a non-profit, para-church ministry where I provide services as a Relational Coach through Kimberly Neely Coaching.

I have continued to deepen my education through courses in Interpersonal Neurobiology at the Mindsight Institute. In 2024, I completed a 60-hour certificate program in Somatic Trauma Therapy through The Embody Lab, where I learned and practiced somatic techniques that have deepened my capacity to journey alongside my clients. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree at The Seattle School for Theology and Psychology.

Through my work with IYLM and Kimberly Neely Coaching, I have served as a resource for parents, spouses, professionals, ministry leaders, teachers, adolescents, adults, and children. I have provided individual coaching, led and co-led groups, taught at schools and churches, and led women’s retreats.

I am a wife, mom of three children through both adoption and biological birth, and a persistent learner. You can often find me enjoying some of my favorite things: spending time with my family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, reading, and listening to favorite thinkers share about interpersonal neurobiology, somatic practices, attachment theory, and spiritual formation.
